Tall tales fill this story. What is it about Cody's story concerning Del Gato's electric fence that doesn't make sense? Can you come up with any other examples of "stretching the truth" in this novel?
When I saw a sentence that said "Del Gato placed an old greasy grill across two brick ledges just above the fire, turned off the water, then set the kettle on the grill" it made me go "O.M.G."when I read it. -Brady P.
When I was reading Boy who saved baseball I would ask The author (John Ritter) Why he would write a sentence That doesn't make sense. So that is why I would like to ask the author about that so it makes more sense to me.
If your eletricuted your skin woun't get fried off.
